November Report 2025 from Labakoreh: Developments in School and Village
The stay in Labakoreh resulted in several completed measures: the delegation handled all organisational tasks, distributed gifts to 137 children, paid school fees and carried out payroll and financial settlements. The garden project, with around fifty participating women, continues to demonstrate its sustainable impact. Anniversary celebrations in both Germany and the village highlighted the close connection. The beach festival offered the children a memorable experience. The repair of a classroom roof was completed, and a local football team received new jerseys. Support programmes for vocational and academic education – including those for Amie and Abtoilie – are progressing well. Decades of development work show tangible results; promoting education remains a central priority.
