Montag und heute Morgen, am Freitag (27.04.),  hat Monika noch einmal Bilder aus Gambia gesendet. Diese Bilder zeigen, wie es mit dem Spielplatz vorangeht, der in unserem Partner-Dorf entsteht. Sie zeigen das Holz für die Schaukeln, die Tische für die Schule, den Schlosser und die Spielgeräte, die wir von ihm anfertigen ließen. Sie zeigen Menschen, die gemeinsam arbeiten für die Zukunft der Kinder des Dorfes.

„Aus dem roten Holz (Mahagoni) werden heute noch Schaukeln gebaut. Die Anregung dafür kam von Tristan und Steve. Ich hoffe wir werden bis Sonntag einigermaßen fertig“, schreibt Monika. Am Montag geht es zurück ins eher frühlingshafte Deutschland, nach Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Die Wärme der Menschen in Gambia und die Freude über die geleistete Arbeit unseres Vereins ist auf jeden Fall im Gepäck.

On Monday morning and today, on Friday ((27.04.), Monika has send another bunch of pictures from Gabia. The pictures show how it goes on with the playground, that is being built in our partner village. They show the wood for the swings, the tables for the school, the locksmith and the toys that we had made by him. They show people who work together for the future of the children of the village.

„The red wood (mahogany) is still used to make swings today, inspired by Tristan and Steve, and I hope we will be ready by Sunday,“ writes Monika. On Monday they will return to the more springlike Germany, to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The warmth of the people in Gambia and the joy of the work done by our association is definitely in the baggage.
